    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is an extremely valuable learning experience, and essential to be well-rounded in accounting. The homework load is quite extensive, but rewarding as it takes much practice to master the material.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include the expanded knowledge obtained on the form 1040 and the many supplemental forms. AMT was a challenging portion of the course. It was interesting to learn all of the available credits, and the basic principles behind tax logic.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to be dedicated to the homework. The homework is lengthy and time-consuming, but the only way to prepare for the exam is to do a lot of practice. The tax projects, where you fill out an actual return and forms, is extremely beneficial in combining everything you have learned.
