Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a bit of a sticklar for talking in class. However, he is very passionate about Chemistry and is always easy to find if you need help.

    Course highlights:

The class was pretty basic, not much more than a highschool Chemistry course. However, we did get into some really fascinating ideas abput nuclear chemistry, which was new to me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You really need to take notes. Lecture can be long and brutal and you need to be able to remeber what you learned. Pay attention to the equations, because they are 70% of the test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The instructor of this class does not teach well at all. She is very boring and lectures from the power points only. I fall asleep in this class because of her voice. The only graded work in this class is the tests, which are very hard and normally have curves because everyone in the class does bad. The material is taught at a fast paste, and I would recommend taking any other professor, because they move on only when they know the class understands the material completely.

    Course highlights:

My favorite chapters where the ones on organic chemistry. It was hard to grasp at the beginning, but I came to enjoy it later on. A lot of the material is a review of what is taught in previous chemistry classes, but this class goes in depth about compounds and the formation of different things.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the material periodically and definitely use the book's questions to study, because that might be the only practice you will get before the tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This teacher is a good teacher. He explains everything very slowly and has is door open all the time. He doesn't require you to do homework, but make sure you do it, because you will become lost very quick.

    Course highlights:

How to convert Chemical equations and use their laws

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the homework. He doesn't require it, but trust me, you need to do the work if you are going to keep up in his class!!
