Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would defiantly recommend this course to any freshman or student that needs a English 102 course to fulfill any Gen ED requirements. The Teacher is very engaging and will ask a lot of questions. She only has like two test, which are based on the short stories and poems you will read. I started off reading the first couple but then I didn't feel the need to because she does go over it in class but there is a good chance she will pick you and you would have had to read last nights assignment. Part of the final is a paper for the curious incident of the dog in the night time, it was a pretty easy essay if you read ....haha but I also read this book in high school so I just needed a quick refresher on the plot. She also requires a group project in the end which is easy as well, I did a jeopardy game and had questions about everything we read. We also had to do 25 journal entries of the all the things we read, this was suppose to be done over the course of the semester but we all know that you tend to procrastinate which I did, so it made it a little harder to do. But overall an easy class just need to read and do the journals.
We analyzed a lot of poems, and short stories between the history behind it as well as the purpose of it. I learned a lot about what type of poems are what. Genres. about anything you can think of that goes along with poetry and short stories.

Advice for students:
The books for this class is cheap, I tried my best not to purchase books from the book store which would be overpriced. So I ordered both books for like maybe $30 at the most was cheaper then buying it from the school. But just read it will help and try using spark notes because for some of the stories and poems I didn't quite understand so I had to do more research to follow along.
