Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is skilled at removing stigmas behind disabilities and illnesses across the spectrum of psychology by using his own experiences and the stories of those he's helped (without divulging personal information). We are not only taught statistics of how many people are affected and why, but also the many ways to understand them and begin to solve or treat them.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the case studies and seeing what we've read in books applicable to actual therapy sessions. I learned to look for the small signs that might otherwise go unnoticed by an untrained eye. It was enlightening and humbling, proving again that judging by appearance mostly always gets one nowhere.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Sit in the front and try to take it with a friend who is as eager to learn as you are. If your course load is heavy, take it Pass/Fail so you don't stress too much about the grade!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a fun class, but sometimes seemed as though the work we did was busy work. Professor Paulson is also very sweet and understanding.

    Course highlights:

Paulson is very nice and understanding since she was a clinical psychologist for so many years. This also allows her to give real life examples when discussing new material.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the work to the best of your ability. Also make sure to do all assigned readings and watch all of the TEDTalks. Not only is it interesting but they are necessary to succeeding on the exams.
