    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not only do you generally need it for the Economics major/minor, but Prof. Baskan pushes you to really understand how statistics works. Once you have an understanding, you can apply the statistics to any field of study, which at some point you will have to do in order to complete some type of study.

    Course highlights:

Basic understanding of introductory statistics. How to critically think about sets of numbers and orient them in the best way to produce meaningful information.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Explain yourself thoroughly on any quiz or exam. Prof. Baskan does not accept half-assed answers when it comes to graded work.
