    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it lays the foundation of muscles, joints, and bones and the movements of the body. This is essential for any career going into rehab or athletic training. The grades are based mostly on your test scores, which makes it challenging.

    Course highlights:

I learned a deep appreciation for our body and all of the tiny components that make up the whole. There is so much that goes into simply lifting your arm or walking that we often take for granted.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

It is lecture-style, so be sure to sit at the front. Also, don't bring a laptop for notes or your phone to class because it is more likely for you to become distracted. Always go to office hours and ask questions! She is always available to explain something further. Study the material the professor went over that day in class the same day. Cramming and procrastinating is not an option in this class!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. It is a great course for learning about the movement of the human body. Dr. Bertoti does a great job teaching.

    Course highlights:

I learned in depth about which muscles are used to move which body parts and at which joints. This was a very interesting course, and I found it much easier to study for this course than others because the content was interesting to me. Having a background in physical activity and weight lifting definitely helped me in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Whether this is a required course for you or not, I would take it. It is not easy, but it is interesting if you have a love for the human body, exercise, or movement.
