Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it definitely gives you brief overall understanding of the world of anthropology. And even if you're in a field you think is completely unrelated, like myself as an art major, you start to make connections between the material in this class and the world we live in, and the work you do make.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of insight into how the world works, how people perceive the world, and why the distinctions between those two things are so important. I've used countless concepts that I learned in this class in every day conversation, debates, and even in my artwork. It's really influential and serves a great deal to just gaining a more worldly and holistic perspective.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the lectures, take thorough notes. The tests are always very similar to the class discussions, and you will not do well if you don't show up for class. The small activities and minimal papers are not hard at all, but showing up is the best thing you can do for yourself to get a good grade. The material will stick in your mind for a long time if you take strong notes and pay attention.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor really cares about the subject. He's very passionate and expects you to be the same or at least put in the effort to show you care about the subject at hand. You get to learn about different periods in time. You learn about cultures you never heard of! It's fascinating to learn about people who you never knew existed.

    Course highlights:

I got to learn about many cultures and social norms in different societies. You get to read about different people who share their experiences with Anthropologists.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please read all of the articles and watch all the videos!!! They will be on the exam. His practice quizzes are a big help so make sure to take them on time!
