    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It is a challenging course because of the scope of the material, but it will prepare you for metalworking certifications.

    Course highlights:

    The most useful topic covered is the OSI model. It gives a clear picture of how devices connect on a network and how the communicate with each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    It is important to read the textbook before lectures. The class is face paced and having some preliminary knowledge of the topics covered in the lectured will make understanding the material significantly easier.
