Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a easy course for students needing a general science class. It is also very interesting to learn about. You learn about more than just plants and the information can be used in many fields.

    Course highlights:

Agriculture, cross breeding plants, basic chemistry, plant cells, photosynthesis, naming plants, phylogenies, 3 kingdoms (Archaea, bacteria, eukaryotes), Fungi, viruses, Plants (bryophytes, seed bearing vascular plants, gymnosperms, angiosperms), plant life cycles, pollination, seed/ plant movement, soil, fossils, natural selection, evolution, conservation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend all the lectures and take good notes, it also can help to print out the powerpoint slides or record the lectures. Go to all labs and turn in everything assigned on time and completed. Go over notes as much as possible and make notecards. Pay attention when going over exams because some questions are reused on the final exam. Go to Dr. Tebbitt if you need help or find a tutor.
