    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This is a great class that you learn many things you will need to know about children and teaching for the rest of your teaching career.

    Course highlights:

    I learn many things that will help me in the future. People first language was HUGE in this class. Its a person with a disability, NOT a disabled person.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study Hard and long. You have to really want to do good and learn in this class.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Heh definitely keeps it interesting with real life in counters.

    Course highlights:

    In this course you will gain the knowledge to put together an IEP, how to co-teach, and also the multiple laws that make up special education.

    3-5 hours

    Study nightly for the weekly quizzes

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Seman is highly knowledgeable and wants the best educators to reach the next generation. Her course is a staple for all education majors!

    Course highlights:

    I learned essential information and statistics about different exceptionalities and realized that special education is a field that I truly want to become involved in.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Definitely read the textbook chapters 2-3 times before you're quizzed on them. Your life will be so much easier as a result!
