    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

genetics is very important in every aspect of life, and although you might think you don't need to know the information, it will come back in every biology or wildlife course.

    Course highlights:

This course teaches you the fundamentals of genetics and studies it at the microscopic level so that you can better understand what goes on, not just in humans but other species as well and really allows you to understand mutations and diseases.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Although flash cards are helpful if you study that way, but I would focus more on diagrams or other images related to the topic you would be learning, say how a gene is passed in different inheritances, and also provide a brief background with the image, it will allow you to grasp what you are learning. Definitely do as much hands on activities as you can.
