    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is entirely memorization. You may want to actually learn things about the cultures and religions studied, but at the end of the day, Professor Brown only wants you to regurgitate to an exact tee, the points she has gone over in her lecture notes. Create quizlet sets that encompass all the information found in the lecture notes and study them until you can repeat it from memory. Even the slightest deviation from the exact words of the lecture notes will result in a lower grade. Most exams for this course were open book, so familiarize yourself with the textbook and learn how to effectively use the index.

    Course highlights:

If I had been able to study the material to actually learn, this course would have been very interesting. However because of the nature of the exams, I learned very little about the religions and cultures studied in this book, and was more focused on memorization.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pick a different course if possible, or at least pick a different professor.
