    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lo Castro made learning about the basics of human interaction and communication immensely interesting. Her class curriculum included so many activities including Jeopardy, class discussions, research projects, and experiments during which we usually had freedom to choose our topic as long as we followed the guidelines. In the end, it also made me pay a lot more attention to how I interact with people and vice versa.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about the levels of personal space (via the "Onion" layers). I also loved researching about intercultural communication, specifically in the workplace. My favorite assignment focused on one-up, one-down, and one-across communication and how it affects how people react to one another.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you use Quizlet to study because the tests require memorization of things like theorists of certain theories, meanings of the theories, etc.
