    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If your good at math than I would recommend this course. If not then I wouldn't take it just because some of the information is hard to understand. The way Dr. Dip explains things aren't exactly the easiest way to understand the information either. He thinks the material is easy and shows a couple different ways to learn different things.

    Course highlights:

Not a lot of work was required for this class, just a project and 4 exams. He had a lot of stories that related to the topics we were discussing during class. Some of the stories I thought were pointless and had no connection with what we were learning about, but others were helpful to relate back to.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn the material from the beginning. As soon as he teaches it try your best to remember how to do it because he always pulls questions that we had the chapter before on exams. And the final is cumulative so it comes in handy for less studying in the future.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Gendler is a sweet old man but his ability to teach has gone downhill as he's gotten older. He is incredibly intelligent and good for one on one, but in class, it's a struggle to keep up because he misses a lot of steps.

    Course highlights:

The course covers a bunch of random topics you wouldn't expect to cover so it's pretty interesting.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Find a friend in the class, maybe get a tutor, and definitely read your book.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Dip genuinely cares about his students and tells you that you can contact him any time of the day, even if it's 3 am. I'm not a math person myself, so the class was fairly difficult for me. Without the help of my friend, I probably wouldn't have passed the class.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Dip has a great sense of humor - He's always telling stories and cracking jokes. My favorite days were when he'd tell us stories. I learned about truth tables and validity of an argument. However, it wasn't like a typical math course with fractions and such.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely go to the tutor if you have time. Even if you understand the material, going over it won't hurt. Take up Dr. Dip's offers of calling him whenever - He's there for a reason. And don't wait too long to do the blue paper assignment he gives on the first day!
