    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class prepared me for my acceptance to Thomas Jefferson University for nursing. This professor ensures you understand chemistry and how it applies to the fundamentals of human understanding.

    Course highlights:

highlights of this course were being challenged in a positive way, walking out of that class with solid knowledge, and learning many concepts. We learned about single elements, plolyatomic ions, heat and energy in relationship to particles. transcribing particles, to atoms, to grams, along with many hands on experiments to better understand the relationship of these concepts and the experiments. Such as wave lengths and the colors.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

DO your homework! and ask questions until you understand, and do HUNDREDS of problems

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is very challenging. However, the teacher strives for her students to achieve a passing grade without giving away free points. She will make you do assignments, but she does not only grade on test scores.

    Course highlights:

The biggest lesson I learned from general chemistry was time management. Cramming a study session even a day before the exam will not help. One has to make time at least a week minimum to study.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If help is offered, accept it. There is no reason to fall behind when there are tutors, a class full of other students, and the teacher to help.
