    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because its very interesting to hear the professor talk about the progression of Sociology from the early ages to the modern times. He shows us various films that are relevant to the course and range from documentaries to historical videos about scientific videos. There is reading involved but the quizzes are easy and there was no homework involved besides reading. The final paper was fairly easy as long as you dedicate enough time to it.

    Course highlights:

The teacher was extremely easy going and funny. He liked to hear about what others had to say and he is not a boring lecturer. He keeps the class alive by telling jokes and even did a science experiment in class once. I learned about the people who were involved in giving birth to various sociological theories and I learned about the holocaust by researching the event thoroughly.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the material that he assigns because it helps you understand the course better. He talks about the readings in the class every week so you should want to know what he lectures about.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course has great material and real life application. I would recommend this course for anyone regardless of major.

    Course highlights:

I learned that even though I never considered myself to be a part of the problems of society, that does not mean that I am part of the solutions. I learned that I want to do more to be a part of the solution in my community.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This specific class was a lot of writing and reading. I'm a bad writer and I don't enjoy writing so I was terrified when I learned that is a huge part of your grade. But I must be honest and say that I got much more out of the class this way. As long as you read and keep up with the requirements every week, you can make a great grade in the class.
