Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is the first chemical engineering class of the chemical engineering curriculum and Fafarman is a great professor. He outlines homework, class work, and notes in a super organized manner that is easy to follow. He's also super available for office hours and very reasonable when it comes to attendance for recitation.

    Course highlights:

I got a really good understanding of basic material balances which was super important for thermodynamics and energy balances that comes immediately after.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, take notes, ask questions. Fafarman is a really nice person and is super willing to help you understand.
