    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

First of all, it is a requirement for film and screenwriting students, but I would recommend it for other majors as well. It is a nice way to learn about the origins of film. The first half of class is usually a discussion (which can seem long but is usually interesting) while the second half is spent watching a film.

    Course highlights:

You learn about the entirety of the origin of film. The movies you watch differ for each course, but my favorites were Casablanca and A Face in the Crowd.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you do the discussion questions by the end of the quarter!
