    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It felt like an easy course, but I also learned a lot of information while taking it!

    Course highlights:

It is an intro course, so it was not crazy in depth, however i learned a lot of the basics on sociology.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in the lecture right before a test! She answers tons of questions that help you a lot for the test.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, however, with a different professor. While Dr. Irwin was very nice and had a pleasant demeanor, his teaching style was not my favorite. I didn't feel like I learned that much from the class lectures and the quizzes we had to take online, often had wrong answers and that got frustrating after a while.

    Course highlights:

I learned that were are very different perspectives in sociology. I liked that all of the quizzes and all of the tests were online. It was like Dr. Irwin wanted you to do well, which is always nice. The videos he would supplement the lectures with were helpful and he also included some personal stories as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely get the book because you will need it for the quizzes and the tests.

    | Would recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course gives interesting insight into analyzing the world we live in. Although some of the readings can be dull, the underlying concepts and ideas are intriguing.

    Course highlights:

The course requires minimum work, just a few short papers and readings. I learned many fundamental thoughts of famous sociologists, psychologists and anthropologists.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the selected essays for class so that you can participate in class lectures, otherwise the class can seem to drag.
