    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although the course title is daunting, the class is relatively easy and useful for anyone in the field of Business, or related fields. I'm personally in Integrated Marketing Communications, and I could see the application to experiences I've had in internships and to the real world. For the class, I didn't find that I needed the textbook. If you attend all classes and take good notes, you can do well in the course.

    Course highlights:

The course taught me how to use Microsoft Access, and become more proficient in Excel. We also learned how to build an app, and the programming that goes into it. I feel that I thoroughly learned the basics of information systems in a manageable and realistic way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Although she provides you with the lecture slides online, take notes in class! It helps you retain the information, and she does much more thorough explanations of the slides in class. The slides have minimal information, and if I had not taken notes throughout the course, I would not have done as well as I did.
