Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

the professor was really enthusiastic and had multiple ways of teaching. his exams reflected coursework, so if you take notes, you'll pass

    Course highlights:

this class was the basics of biology. you learn about ecology, the professor sometimes threw in stuff that wasn't apart of the curriculum, such as the functions of the heart

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

take notes and pay attention. he always says stuff that isn't apart of the powerpoints and this information will be on exams. all of his test questions include "all of the above" or "none of the above" as possible answers

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although it was a lecture, it was still small enough to feel close to the professor and be comfortable raising your hand and it was easy to go to office hours. There was no reading for class though, everything was taught within the lecture period.

    Course highlights:

This course was a wonderful overview. I learned a lot about biology but was not too overwhelmed because it built a lot on high school biology. The professor was nice and understanding and exams/quizzes were very fair!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is beneficial to have a high school biology course fresh in your mind. I also benefited from having anatomy in high school as well. The worst part was how expensive the access code was-- we only used it twice and the assignments were 10 points each but it cost about $200!!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Welsh is a fantastic professor! He explains things in a way that just seems to make so much sense, and he is so funny! He makes the class interesting which helps a lot. He is also very nice and gets on Twitter the night before exams to help you study. He is just a very nice person and is always willing to help you if you don't understand.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course would be the function and blood flow through the heart, somewhat detailed information about the cells like how they bring in molecules and send them out through the walls, and some basic skeleton system information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to the lecture even though it is at 8 AM because he does say a lot of things over and over again that you can easily remember and obviously know will be on an exam or quiz. Don't stress if you don't know something. He is very helpful if you go to him during office hours.
