    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because Dr. Welsh is a very good teacher, and he is enthusiastic about the material. Therefore, he makes the content interesting and easier to learn.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was when we covered the body systems. This part of the course was very interesting, and I came out of the course being more knowledgeable in health sciences which pertains to my major.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, you must stay on top of the material because there is a lot covered in one lecture. The powerpoints themselves do not cover everything you need to know. Listen during the lectures because he stresses possible exam topics during them.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was amazing and would go into great detail for you to understand the material. Also, there was a wide range of material in the class so you do not get bored.

    Course highlights:

We learned about evolution, the body systems and structures, plant structures, and tissues.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Constantly review for it so when the final comes around you won't be stressed. Show up to class because the professors tell you what you will need to know for the exams.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because there is a lot of teacher student involvement, and gives a biological perspective on a more macro- scale.

    Course highlights:

There were a few highlights of this course. We got to travel to the Pittsburgh Zoo, and being able to actually see the animals in their habitat using their adaptations was very cool. We also got to travel to Phipps Conservatory, which was great for many reasons. The smells from all of the different plants was nice, getting to be immersed in the rooms felt like sort of traveling through some sort of teleportation device, and learning about all the new research done in conservation there was the biggest highlight.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It would be to simply study, and ask as many questions as needed to understand the information.
