    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was very informative and engaging. It really helps you understand different perspectives of different cultures and how culture affects communication. I enjoyed the class moreso because of the open discussion and how the professor related certain topics to current events of today.

    Course highlights:

One of the topics that were discussed was how people from other countries portray certain actions by many different meanings, depending on the culture. For example, people in the United States value time when it comes to being at a specific place at a specific time. However, people from other countries may not value time as much as we do and may show up later than discussed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Honestly, as long as you pay attention in class and do the readings, you shouldn't have any problem at all succeeding in this course. I would make sure to study the terms that are discussed with flashcards of some sort. There aren't very many assignments given, but there are at least 3-4 exams in the semester.
