    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Skelly does a great job teaching the class and makes it very enjoyable. He is very good at engaging and interacting with the students. There is never a dull moment!

    Course highlights:

He made psychology really understanding and provided great analogies. I always remembered what he taught throughout the year.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go in with an open mind! Psychology is not for everyone, but it is very interesting. When you study, wear those same clothes when you take the test. Your brain learns material by analyzing and learning the environment around you as well.

I definitely recommend really listening in psych 101. You get a better sense of how your brain functions and exactly what makes you, you!

    Course highlights:

Understand how your brain works and what medications or alcohol does to you.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention! Most of the time you don't even need to read the book because the lectures tell you everything you need to know.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because if you pay attention then you really do learn a lot of the basics of psychology. It was awesome how involved the professor was with the students even though there was a very large group of us. She was really able to help me understand the content because of the diction of her lectures.

    Course highlights:

One of the things that I mostly remember is Pavlov's experiment with classical conditioning which helped me understand extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. I know there was surveys and opportunities to listen to motivational speakers that I really wanted to attend, but I unfortunately could not make it to those due to work. I learned a lot about all the different disorders such as depression, addiction, anxiety, etc. Another thing I loved about the course is how for most of the content she would give a lecture on; she would also try to show us a visual by showing us a video or doing a quick exercise. For example, when we were learning about memory, right after doing notes on it we all did a quick memory test to see how proficient our memory was.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful in this course, you really need to pay attention during the lectures and study thoroughly.
