Great Intro to the Subject
This class was tough.
I would recommend this class because I learned a lot about myself and my thought processes based on the material covered. I had this preconceived notion that I would not do very well in this class because it included more science-based information than I was used to and that I would struggle because my friends said this was a difficult class. I discovered that this type of material was very interesting to me because I found it relatable to everyday life. Because of this, I am more open to taking various courses to expand my horizons, which is exactly what this class did. A little challenge never hurts either.
I learned how to take notes: the fast and abbreviated type. I learned how to study more efficiently for tests and final exams. I also learned about the human thought process and how far ethics has come in the field of psychology in the past 100 years. We have made great leaps in this relatively new field since its conception, which I find impressive. The professor was very engaged with his students due to his energetic manner of presenting material and calling on us for in-class participation. The professor valued our opinion, giving us many assignments that were opinion-based. I liked this aspect because it showed he genuinely had a respect for what we thought.
