    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course effectively delves into the human condition and returns with insights that make perfect sense in the real world. I personally like to joke that Professor Townsend explains every part of your life in detail, but really that insight is achieved through reflection.

    Course highlights:

The best parts of this course are the new insights into the human condition. Many details may seem like common sense, such as the fact that children growing up in an alcoholic home face more challenges, but more often than not the content is surprising.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise to be open to new concepts and insights. Generally, though, this course is very fun and easy to follow, so I would simply advise to take everything in! The class is informative in a very engaging way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is applicable to almost any career field. Participation is key!! Students get so much out of this course just by joining into the discussion. I could not ask for a better professor.

    Course highlights:

I learned so many concepts about the psychology behind vital stages of life. Whether about childhood, parenting, roles in society, mental illness, or addiction, I know that the knowledge I gained about these concepts will follow me through my career in medicine. I was so pleased that the professor was not afraid to skip over sensitive information like addiction, violence, and divorce. It helped me better related to the situations presented to me by my own patients.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

PARTICIPATE!! I learned so much just by asking questions and joining in to the conversation. Also the final paper is written about your life story. Do not hold back on details. I learned so much about myself during this course. I think that the knowledge you gain during this class can help you to relate to people in any field you choose.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It offers a comprehensive outline of what happens to humans as they develop. Knowing this framework helps students to understand themselves and others far better.

    Course highlights:

Learning about what people do as they progress through life adds perspective and objectifies what most students will struggle with-- having that objectivity will undoubtedly ease the transitions in later life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just listen in class, and do the assigned readings. Do that and you'll be perfectly fine.
