    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher spoke poorly about any religion besides Christianity during class time. As well, he expected an in depth knowledge about the bible in a required class. As an agnostic, I don't have too thorough a knowledge on the bible so it often left me feeling at a huge disadvantage.

    Course highlights:

As I did not know very much about the bible at all, this course did provide me with a greater knowledge on it. It also went in depth about the history of the Torah and the Bible as well as the differences between the different translations from the bible. The class also focused on a lot of preaching aspects so if I ever wanted to preach, I know at least one method of doing so.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure you have a decent understanding of the bible and can handle the preaching of a teacher with very conservative views. It is stressful with the amount of reading that must be done so having a friend to talk about the material to reinforce it is incredibly beneficial.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought the information was interesting, and I enjoyed getting a deeper look into parts of the Bible I had previously ignored.

    Course highlights:

I learned that every part of the Bible is interesting and important, and we as Christians can not ignore the Old Testament.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard for his tests, they are not easy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a very interesting course. Although I am not religious, it was still an interesting class all the same. I learned a lot about the bible.

    Course highlights:

I learned all about the history of the bible and how to look at the bible from a literary stance and not just a spiritual view. We learned

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard. Actually read the books. DO NOT schedule the 8AM class... you will sleep
