    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course! The material is interesting as is, but the professor really holds your attention and makes class fun and enjoyable! The tests are the most difficult part of the course, but if you study your notes, you will pass it easily. Also, we do not have a lot of tests either. The work assigned for us to do outside of class is easy points and we get a lot of time to complete the assignments. It really is such a great, organized class set up for your success.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would be anything from the way to brain works to the theories of many psychologists. I learned about Maslow's hierarchy of needs, the biological perspective, how the brain works, how drugs affect the brain, motivation theories, types of emotions, stress and health, personality types, and the different defense mechanisms. If you are anything like me, this all holds a lot of interest in you. The class was never boring. Professor Klase gives real life examples and allows you to really make a connection to the class. I definitely recommend this as a core B class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest that you review your notes frequently. The tests are not difficult if you review the notes that you take in class. Professor Klase also has participation points. He likes to connect to the class so participate and voice your opinion as often as you feel. You will get occasional work outside of class, but you have plenty of time to complete it to the best of your ability. He is also an easy grader. Extra credit is also provided often and it is simply on the notes you have taken the day before! Great class to take!
