Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Lint-Kessler genuinely cares about all her students. She creates a fun learning environment and ensures that every student understands the numerous challenging concepts microbiology has to offer. The professor incorporates reasonable humor each class that will grab students attention.

    Course highlights:

I looked forward each week for the labs. The hands on assignments were challenging, yet enjoyable. I learned to identify several types of bacteria and viruses and how they affect the human body. In addition, I learned about different medicines and the impact on different bacteria.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Have a daily or weekly planner to stick to. As hard as it may seem, do not procrastinate and break up the work into chunks to allow for a less stressful semester. Also, ask questions! Do not be afraid because chances are, another classmate is wondering the same thing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read each chapter and listen to the pod casts. Don't forget to study or put it off to the last minute.
