    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for someone who anted to get a basic intro into anthropology. Prof. Houser is really passionate about the topic and most of the class is based around discussion of various issues and topics such as different gender roles in society. Sharing from personal experience is encouraged and it's really cool to hear from others who have different world views.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the class discussions. I learned that everyone has different life experiences and values which ultimately shape the way they view the world. Even though people may have different opinions, it doesn't mean their opinions are wrong it just means they're different.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes in class! The tests are almost entirely made up of information that is orally discussed in class. The notes are definitely more valuable than the information inn the textbook.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

A great class for learning the basics of anthropology.

    Course highlights:

Weekly quizzes helped you keep on track with your learning and make sure you were understanding the material. It was fast paced, about two or three chapters (60-90 textbook pages of reading) per week.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't underestimate it. I went in thinking it would be my easy class and was very wrong. It was quite a challenge.
