    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Vertosick is one of the coolest and most understanding professors at IUP. There is never a dull moment in class and the course is overall very easy.

    Course highlights:

The highlights throughout the course were definitely the essays we had to write. I'm not one to like to write, but the topics and types of papers we needed to write were very interesting and fun to come up with. I learned that there are many different styles of writing and each one is very unique.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest that you regularly attend class because it is a very easy grade. Always give your best ideas in your writings and never hold back because Ms. Vertosick likes to see when people think outside the box.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He gives important outlining tools for writing different types of essays but his classes are really boring and I didn't learn anything new or life changing.

    Course highlights:

The only significant knowledge I gained from this course was how to use MLA citations but they revised it after the course so most of what he tought was a moot point afterwards.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

It's easy and the grade comes from the big essays you have to write.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone, not only because it is needed to graduate, but the Professor, Ms. Tonti is phenomenal and she understands the importance of English

    Course highlights:

I leaned that I have problems that I have to take care of, and that college is rough at times but it isn't as terrible as everyone makes sound out to be

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you get some idea of who is teaching it and how strong you are with general knowledge in English, not just the language.
