Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a tough class, but for healthcare it's essential.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much valuable information that is going to make my future class a lot more simple. I learned basically all of the basics of the human body including; bones, muscles, organs, organ systems, and most of all details! Before this class I never knew that there was four different parts of a stomach organ!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! It is time consuming, the practicals are nerve wracking but you have to get it over with and you will and you will do awesome. It's an essential class for those going into healthcare and as long as you put in the time to learning and memorizing it is a great class. besides studying I recommend buying the loose leaf copy of the book because you can take out the pages that have labeled photos on them and study on the go whenever you have time. Going home for the weekend and not driving? Study the diagrams! Have a break in between class with nothing better to do? Study the diagrams!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bi is a wonderful professor. He wants his students to succeed. He gives lots of examples, and actively involves the students. Also, human anatomy is a really important class. Everyone should be required to take it.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed drawing assignments for Human Anatomy. They really helped me understand the human body and memorize the parts, and it was counted for credit. We also got to see a real cadaver which was pretty cool.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study! Use quizlet, make flashcards, study with friends, study alone, look at pictures, and whatever else you need to do. It is mostly memorization. There are a lot of terms that sound alike, so really understanding the material will help to remember what is where, and what it does.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor was clearly passionate about the course and made the information more enjoyable to learn. On the contrary, his teaching methods were focused on lecture and self-learning which made it difficult to learn the appropriate information.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the attached lab. We had the opportunity to dissect a human cadaver that supplemented the learning.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

study small amounts of information repeatedly
