    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend Dr. Anderson for every accounting course she teaches. She makes you work hard, but she is enthusiastic, explains the material really well, is very fair, and cares about her students. If you are an accounting major, you are making a huge mistake not getting to know her and to take her for class. I learned more in her Intermediate Accounting II class than I did in my ACCT 201 and Intermediate Accounting I courses combined -- I made the mistake of taking this two classes from someone known to be super easy (i.e., you learn next to nothing).

    Course highlights:

She teaches the "old-fashioned" way -- assigned paper/pencil homework, gave paper-pencil exams, and even used an overhead and wrote on the marker board during class -- I thought this was fantastic!! Every professor should teach this way. I found that this approach really helped me to learn. She also provided a lot of helpful advice on the real world and how to go about getting an internship or job. She's the best professor I've had so far, and I'm a Junior.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO CLASS AND PAY ATTENTION!! She does not curve, and she gives very limited bonus points. She is a no-nonsense professor and does not put up with students coming into class late, leaving and returning, sleeping in class, playing with cell phones in class, etc. I appreciated this. I'm fed up with going to classes filled with students pulling this crap.
