Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course teaches you many different techniques that you can incorporate into your essays. Some of them were including naysayers, how to properly put in a quote, and to explain the quote.

    Course highlights:

I learned that you are able to put your own opinions into your research papers by including a naysayer. What this is is that you can say that you agree with what a researcher says, but only to a point. Then you add what you think could be added to improve upon what they believe.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

There are many options to choose from for the final paper, like the personal essay and a research study. I felt that easiest one to write was the personal essay because of the background you already have on the topic.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor doesn't really grade anything. She has the student create the criteria for grading.

    Course highlights:

My processes for writing are better than they were. She highlights heavily on what all goes into a piece of writing and why it is all important. This course had strengthen my writing practices.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Know your genres of writing. When writing notecards on assigned readings, just make it sound good and you should get full credit. A lot of her practices and activities in class seem pointless, but take notes on everything she writes down on the board, it will help you with the research project.

    Course highlights:

Interesting and entertaining reading assignments. I learned many ways to find good sources for research writing along with the evaluation of sources and how to site them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do the reading and writing assignments and don't procrastinate the main paper!
