Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I personally enjoy history. It shows us where we came from and what we did, and is an important part of determining where we go. The professor kept the lectures interesting and the exams were challenging and made us apply the knowledge we learned.

    Course highlights:

We learned about US history from Reconstruction to the 1990s. We learned the racial and economic portions of major events like segregated military units and FDR's plans during the Great Depression, among other things.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to attend all the classes, or at least have a friend there who will take notes on the lectures. The readings are important for weekly quizzes. The lectures are mostly used for the big exams. Detailed essays on the exams require an in-depth knowledge on the topics.
