Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend because she is a great teacher, she is down to earth and she knows that we are college students trying to balance out a schedule and life. She also helps you alot with speeches and at the end of the semester your public speaking will be better than ever.

    Course highlights:

i learned alot about body language and i learned about what to do if you struggle with speaking in front of a crowd. The highlights of this course was watching myself get better at public speaking.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

i would say to just listen to the teacher about what to do and how to help you through the course

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was fun and pushed us to be more comfortable in our own skin. Everyone is afraid of speaking in public, but this course taught us to channel that nervousness into confidence and become really good public speakers.

    Course highlights:

One of our speeches we had to complete was our own "open mic night" where we had to come up with our own jokes and give them to the class like we were a comedian. It was fun to hear other people's sense of humor as well as how hard each one of us worked to perfect it even if we all hated the idea at first. I learned to not just give up because I was nervous of how I would be judged if I was not funny and it all turned out as this was one of the best speeches I gave all semester!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell a peer to not be afraid of taking this course because you are nervous of speaking in front of people. Everyone going into that class feels the same way, and we all exited with a new sense of confidence and a lessened fear of public speaking. The course really helped me better these skills not just for a good grade, but for all the times I will have to speak in public in the future.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Bristol just is not a happening place honestly. There are a few bars, like O Mannions, State Line, and 620, but they are all

    Course highlights:

restaurants during the day, so you can just imagine. The town is small, and most of what goes out to the bars are the few college kids at King, and old people.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Around campus there are a few places but just 20 minutes away are a lot more options. All are very good and are different from the rest. When we do decide to go out to eat there's aways a choice.
