    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Fisher provides an excellent presentation of the material in this course. The class is very upbeat and you get points for participating in the class discussion. Each week you have 1-2 chapters to read and the class project/activity for the week are centered on these chapters in order to help you better understand the material. You go over the definitions for the week and ask questions or answer question to your fellow classmates. Very entertaining and exciting class. Dr. Fisher also follows his syllabus to the letter. Something I prefer from my professors.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned a lot about art. I learned that somethings that don't seem like art, actually is art. There are many different forms of art as well as styles. My favorite part of the class was actually after midterm when we got to study the different styles of art in different cultures and countries. This class helped me to appreciate art in a different light.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participation is key, as well as reading the material and doing the discussion boards.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course and the professor is one of the best teachers I've ever had. This course focuses on a lot of the aspects of art. How to interpret it, different ways of viewing art, the methods of how it is made. We have discussions and group projects in every class and the Professor makes it very fun.

    Course highlights:

I gained skills in understanding the meaning behind art, what the artist is trying to express, different types of art, and finding the elements in a work of art.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the work that needs to be done outside of class and show up everyday.
