    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is a good class to learn about the earth and what it is made up of and how it functions. Such as the tectonic plate and true north, as well as reading a map.

    Course highlights:

The highlights where learning how to identify the different types of rock and where they would be found. Something I found interesting is the difference of true north and magnetic north, magnetic north moves so you have to keep that in mind when you are traveling with a map and compass make sure you have calculated in the difference.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to learn how to identify rocks that is the biggest part of the course.
