Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course. I loved the content. I was able to write all different types of essays and assignments. I learned a lot more about writing during this course and definitely improved my writing skills.

    Course highlights:

The research paper was very beneficial because it was split up into small parts and we were given feedback and were able to fix our mistakes before submitting the final paper. I defiantly loved this assignment. We also did many different types of papers as well as small readings.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the advice of the professor that she gives in the feedback of each submitted assignment and apply it to all future papers.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of the different material that you cover in the class. The prof gives us multiple projects throughout the year, each of which are designed to teach you how to write in different styles, which will not only help you in your college career, but also in your future.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write a business letter, which analyzed an advertisement. I had to do a free write personal narrative, and a research based website. All three projects were very different, but showed me how I can choose alternative ways to get things done in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't worry if writing an essay isn't your strong suit. You will have opportunities to rewrite and resubmit your final projects.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Linda Cullum is one of the best professors at Kutztown University. I wish my major needed me to take at least one more writing course just so I could have her again. She helps you through your writing and always gives you positive criticism but never fails to help you improve.

    Course highlights:

There were four main papers that were due in the course. The ranged from writing a fairy take to writing a research paper, so you really get to find out which is your niche while learning important things - like how to site sources - along the way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to write a lot. Professor Cullum is nice and very understanding, but it is not wise to skip too many of her classes, because then you miss some important information about the piece you are writing.
