This class was tough.
If you would like to apply to medical school it is a required course, which is the only reason I took it. If there is no reason for you to take it, do not go through the trouble.
The first unit is heavy on nomenclature (very simple I got a 98 on the first exam). The course picks up very quickly however, and professor nutaitis throws about 12 reactions at you, most do not know how to study and really struggle (I got a 75 on this exam, but the mean was about a 60). It calms down a little bit after that, and you steadily learn reactions along with stereochemistry for the rest of the course.

Advice for students:
Do the practice reactions, and come to every lecture. Do not take this class lightly, and you will end up alright. The kids who dropped, or did poorly were the ones who didn't put in the effort.
