    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because, though it is pretty difficult, you are given all of the information you need to succeed and more.

    Course highlights:

Though this course I relearned many basics from chem 1 and also was taught the new information in a way that was interesting and effective.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do. Assigned. Work. The assigned textbook questions are optional in a sense that your grade does not depend on it, but they are not optional. They help you learn the material so much better, and realize you didn't know as much as you thought.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was difficult; I'm not going to lie. If you are looking for a course that will actually teach you the information you need for classes later on down the road, then this is the class. Desrochers is an amazing teacher who actually cares about his students. He wants every student to not just get the letter grade, but actually learn the information.

    Course highlights:

During this course I learned everything I needed to know for chemistry 2; I also was reminded of the basics for chemistry 1. Lab always supports what is being taught in lecture.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do every single one of the practice problems when they are assigned. It is imperative. Go to him with questions when you have them. I do mean when not if.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor teaches well the course, by teaching with examples and letting the class participate.

    Course highlights:

Working on problems during lab, to prepare the class for a test coming up and allowing students to go up the board to work on it step by step as she explained.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book! Also if you do terrible on the first test, don't give up and ask for help immediately, don't wait!
