Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this college course through Conway High School's concurrent credit program. This course extensively walked me through the process of developing a speech. While textbook work was included, friendly activities helped me establish a community inside the classroom that allowed everyone to give their speech to a captive and positive audience.

    Course highlights:

I got over obstacles of public speaking. I learned that the best remedy for speech anxiety is extensive preparation and organization.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be aware of the due dates so that you can sufficiently prepare every step of the speech. Also, get to know your class so that you can feel comfortable delivering your speech. Lastly, dress nicely for your presentations. The final examination will be doable after using your first-hand experience in speech.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is wonderful and the course is very beneficial for life skills. This course teaches students ways to better their careers and themselves in general. I would recommend this course to everyone.

    Course highlights:

Learning how to communicate with others, friends and employers alike, was the highlight of this course for me. I learned ways to talk to my peers in a manner that allows me to appear more friendly as well as effectively talk with employers so that they know I mean business.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard and never think that the course is "too easy". The speeches that you give are hard and should not be taken lightly. Put time into the course and try your best to actually take in what is being taught.
