    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course specially for a business student for the following reason. Marketing is a growth tool for a company. Therefore for a student who is planning to work in a company after his bachelor degree, I think it a good think to know at least the principals of marketing. marketing will allow you to know at least certain marketing strategies.

    Course highlights:

This marketing class highlights the 4ps of marketing which are product , price, place and promotion. It tells us about how marketing works in different types of markets such as in a perfect competition market, in a monopolistic market, in an oligopoly market and in a monopoly market. It also talks about how marketers create value, in order word how do they add value to a product. So I learned about four types of utilities such as form, time, place , possession. The form is about converting raw product into something useful. the place is where the product is sold, the time mean which specific time the product should be sold, to possession means the product needs to be possess in order to make it useful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful in this course, you first of all have to come to class. Because I think if you miss classes, you may be able to miss all the useful explanations that the professor may give. Secondly you have to study right after class. you should not keep the material for several days before studying it. I think studying right after class will make you be more motivated about the course . Also its good to study for your knowledge but not for exams. Some students only study for exams which is not good. .Finally you have to make a lot of researches. because I think the professor give you only 40% of the knowledge. the rest you have to find it by making research in books, on websites and so on.
