Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you aren't really interested in history, I would not recommend taking this course. I did well in the course, but I had to do a lot more work and studying than I expected for this elective.

    Course highlights:

I did learn a lot in the course because of the papers we had to right. We learned world history up until about 500 A.C.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study for the exams. She gives you a study guide, but it is in alphabetical order rather than chronological so it is more difficult to dig for the information through your notes/the readings/textbook.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although he is very passionate about what he teaches, many people in his classes, myself included, had a hard time with this class. He's a very quiet person, so you can barely hear what he says. The tests and quizzes don't help either. None of them made sense with what he taught us

    Course highlights:

The highlights were watching documentaries in class. One was about Christopher Columbus and his voyage to the new world. Another was about the Mongols and where writing books began. They were very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for everything. He never tells you what you're suppose to do for the next class. No matter what question you have he will always tell you to look at the syllabus no matter how many times you tell him that you have and haven't found anything. Just be prepared.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The prof. is really nice and fun to learn from. sometimes she gets off topic but she really is a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

My favorite thing we learned in this course was a about the French and the rulers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a book required but never used so. . .
