Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone even slightly interested in learning more about Economics. The course is taught and organized very well. Anyone can learn the material because the professor gives you plenty of chances to quiz or test your knowledge on the material before exam day. He is so passionate and enthusiastic about his subject that it makes class enjoyable and fun to attend.

    Course highlights:

After completing this course, I am able to explain the circular flow of the economy, the self-correcting mechanisms in place in the US economy, fiscal and monetary policy as discussed in the news, the major factors of monetary growth and how the Federal Reserve can increase the money supply. The course also covered the most recent recession and financial crisis which led to a discussion on "Why do stock and other asset prices undergo long swings away from benchmark levels?"

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, I recommend completing all homework assignments. There are only four big ones for the entire semester. It would benefit you to meet with the tutor for the class to review the material covered that week. If there are any concepts that you still need help understanding, then I suggest visiting the professor. He has office hours during the day and stopping by to visit will only help your grade.
