    Very thorough course with lots of important insight and details for specimen collection, processing, and microbe identification.

    Course highlights:

    Proper methods of specimen collection and handling, growth techniques, identification tools, etc.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    If you have never had a micro course, study, study, STUDY. It will be very difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This course was an excellent introduction to the clinical sciences and laid out the foundation for the rest of our curriculum.

    Course highlights:

    This class taught basic microscopy, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and basic laboratory operations.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Stay on top of the homework. Talk with the teachers frequently about your progress and anything you may not understand.

    You will learn more than you think, be ready to keep details and specific reactions straight.
