Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor makes the course very enjoyable. His examples for real life scenarios helps to connect the information to personal experience. He provides many opportunities to get advice from him and receive help. The course itself is very interesting even if it just the surface of psychology. The course leaves you wanting to know more details.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the experiments. Learning about how psychologists studied different aspects of personality was intriguing. Abnormal psychology was the biggest highlight for me. Sometimes disorders are brought on by environmental factors and some are biological/genetic.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When the professor uses PowerPoint slides, don't take down the notes word for word. Instead, listen to the examples they give and apply it to personal experience. It will help when it comes to studying and allows you to turn complicated things into simple things. Review your notes after class and make sure you understand the material. Ask questions and go to office hours if you are confused.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, I know it's a Gen Ed, but it is a wonderful class to be in. I love the teacher and I love the curriculum. Even though sometimes we get off topic, it always can be related back to the original subject at hand. Love Odenwalt.

    Course highlights:

There may have been a lot of topics that we covered, but mostly what you learn is why people do certain things or how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors really work.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just do it man, and put your all into it. The class may be fun but those tests are just crazy.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Snyder was an excellent professor that made sure everyone understood the topics that she was talking about. I really liked her teaching style and found that I really enjoyed the class. Her class was the reason why I changed my major to psychology.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights for this course for me was when she talked about the anatomy of the brain. I loved learning about the various structures and there functions. She did a great job explaining each of the parts of the brain and kept it very interesting. Great teacher!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely purchase the textbook and read the chapters assigned to you. This will help you to better understand the information she is talking about.
