Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course immerses you in the Spanish language. Not only do you speak only Spanish in class, but you also write short essays and do listening and reading exercises inside and outside of class. The professor is also fantastic and conveying the information to the students, and we all feel the joy of learning. By the time this class is done, we will know enough Spanish to go abroad to a Spanish-speaking country and converse comfortably with native speakers!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the online activities that taught and emphasized grammar, vocabulary, writing, and other topics. I learned grammar tenses and more vocabulary than I learned in high school. These activities are great for learning Spanish outside of class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the work, not because its assigned every night, but because doing the work only helps you learn Spanish faster. You will find yourself making less mistakes while conversing, and using a more complicated writing style. It is one of the most rewarding classes at Yale, and as long as you put in the effort and listen to Professor Lissette Reymundi, you will have a great and enlightening time in class.
