    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a great class for students who are interested in the realm of creative nonfiction writing. It develops universal writing skills, and I enjoyed the insightful discussions on the reading.

    Course highlights:

I learned to love nonfiction - I always thought nonfiction wasn't anything more than boring biographies or reports, and seeing how creativity could be melded with facts and observations to create an interesting commentary on society proved fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into the course expecting to buckle down and write a LOT. As universally said as this advice is, and as universally ignored as it is by students, spread your writing over a long period of time. Nothing it more miserable than cramming 5 pages of writing that you can't B.S. into your Friday nights.
