    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As an adult learner who is not very fond of English, this course taught me how to write effectively using APA format. Dr. Kowalski gave me great advice regarding my style of writing.

    Course highlights:

I have always struggled with writing any type of paper. There was a lot of writing assignments for this course but I was told the more I write the better I would become at writing. I learned how to write effectively and it was a challenge for me but I succeeded.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a head start of each week's assignments. Complete your rough drafts like they were your final drafts because then you will have little to no corrections to make when you hand in your final drafts.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it encourages students to critically think. In class and in written assignments we were pushed to speak our opinion, but to present factual information to back our claims. This class teaches students how to research credible information and correctly cite it using the APA format.

    Course highlights:

A highlight of this course was the moment I realized my career goals had changed after writing a research paper for the course. I thoroughly explored the topic and my views had changed. It was exciting for a new decision to reveal itself in the form of a research paper. I learned that I was becoming a better writer and that compliment has pushed to to go farther and try harder.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course be prepared to write often and take the criticism so that you may become a better writer. APA citations are the core of this class and plagiarism will never be tolerated.
